Hello, I love my size 9 black Wokova Feather sandals. I love how they look and feel, and how they don’t cramp my feet and cause growth problems. My only problem with them is they don’t seem to work with my balance problems (due to MS). If I don’t lift a foot high enough or if the ground in front of my foot is a little uneven, the front of the sandal may get caught, pitching me forward. I have not yet fallen, but my husband and friends have implored me to get rid of the shoes before I do fall. Do you have any advice? Should I try your closed-toe shoes and see if they give me enough room for my toes and my rather wide area at the base of my toes? I really do love your footwear.
Hi! Just received my PTs and cannot wait to take them for a run. I was wondering, however, if it is possible to trim the footbed for a more customized fit. If so, would scissors or a utility knife work?
You can trim them with a utility knife. Just make sure you have a new, sharp blade and be careful. It might be helpful to draw a line on the footbed before you cut into them. Also, if you cut them it will void the warranty and return policy.
I have never been able to tolerate thong sandals, it is like toe rape to me (I find shoes in general somewhat traumatic and claustrophobia inducing). The obvious answer is buy a pair of PTs but I am very drawn aesthetically to the elegance of the Wokova. Does the one-sided bias strap greatly change the thong feel? Have you had positive reports from other thong haters? I wish I could try before I buy. :(
I highly recommend looking at our PT Sleek model. We use the same straps as the Wokova but with an over-the-foot design. It is popular among those who want something more elegant but don’t like the thong. Unfortunately, it seems that most people who don’t like anything between the toes are not comfortable with the Wokova models.
Hi Julianne,
They are not yet available for purchase but we have an email list for anyone who is interested in being notified when they are going to be ready. You can sign up here: http://eepurl.com/R62Of
Just wondering if you have any information for shipping overseas? I live in the UK and would love to try out your sandals! Have you posted to the UK before?

Hi Ellen,
We do ship to the UK. We have sent a large number of sandals there. We have a flat rate international shipping fee of $15USD.
