Giveaway

After finding a thread on 4×4 forums about Unshoes I began to wonder what different kinds of activities people are doing in our sandals. My curiosity is burning so I decided to do a giveaway…

Tell us what is the most extreme/strange thing you’ve done in your unshoes. We’ll vote on answers to pick the best answer and the winner will get a free t-shirt.

We first posted this on Facebook but apparently it is against rules so we are going to set up a “promotions app”. You are welcome to comment here, use the app on Facebook, send us an email, letter via mail, letter via bottle, smoke signals, or any other form of communication. We just want to know what y’all are doing with our sandals!

Craziest thing I have done in my Feathers…… It was too hot to work on the tin roof barefoot so did the roof repairs in my Feathers and the other was having to dig up a septic line. Since these are my work shoes they see a lot of hard work.

We jut put metal roofing on our garage. I wore my first prototype Wokovas with 6mm Cherry. They gripped well but it just got too hot. I thought my feet were going to blister so I ended up putting on a custom pair of Pah Tempe with the Sport sole and leather footbed. The footbed worked but that particular sole doesn’t grip to the roof. It got a little sketchy! I got up there again last weekend and wore the 10mm Newflex. Just right. :)

am from the Philippines , how can i have your sandals? do you have store here? where?,or just online shoP?

I hike 14ers in my Pah Tempes. And I hiked in snow in Montana. I have tried them for parkour, and they work well enough except the front sometimes catches on things and flips down. Probably not much of a problem with other styles though.

I went to a foam party at a fraternity’s house, and I had to drag a couple of my drunken friends out of the foam in order to get them home safely. My feathers held up wonderfully though! No slippage in the sea of foam at all.

Eliot I am surprised by your comment of no slippage unless it was dry foam. This is the one area that I have a problem with my Feathers is when they get wet. The slipping though is between my foot and the sandal not the ground. Once the foot bed gets wet they are too slippery to walk on any kind of incline and I have to take them off.

I signed up to run a nude 5K (not joking). Unfortunately, the race was cancelled at the last minute. I thought the feathers would be the perfect equipment for the job.
